Pál Pereszlényi (1630, Pereszlény - 1689, Besztercebánya)

He was a writer of grammar books. He taught in Nagyszombat, then worked as a missionary. He compiled his work Grammatica linguae Ungaricae according to Emmanuel Alvarez and Albert Szenci Molnár's grammar. He applied the grammatical ideas represented by Szenci and Geleji and György Káldi's Catholic spelling at a higher level.
