Gábor Pesti's six-language dictionary

It was a collection of words following the traditions of word lists from the end of the Middle Ages, but it was much richer: Nomenclatura sex linguarum. Pesti provided Hungarian explanations to a five-language Nurnberg dictionary: he translated the Latin text into Hungarian, he only paid attention to these two languages, the Italian, French, Czech and German variants were full of mistakes. He wrote this work for students who learned without a teacher and travellers. "It is a useful vocabulary for those, who wish to learn and read without going to school...". The book was quite popular, especially abroad, it was published five times in the 16th century. Explaining the "kilemb-kilemb words and dialects" he tried to develop Hungarian grammatical terminology as well.
