Mohammed, Mahomet

The original Arabic name (Mahomet) for the founder of the Islamic religion, the prophet Mohammed (570 or 571-632) is "very praised, very worthy to be praised". The title "Muslim" or "Mohammedan" originates from the name of prophet Mohammed.
