Inventing the removable lead type made it possible to print lines of equal lengths. In other words, printers could condense and space out the lines. Such setting are called block-setting. A good printer always aimed to make even spaces between the words and letters. Not only quadrangle, but triangle and rhombus shape blocks were also formed, these were mainly applied on the opening and closing pages.
