Márton Csombor Szepsi (1595 ?-1625)

Prose writer and poet who came from a Reformed middle class family. He set off in 1518 in the direction of Poland with the intention of "seeing alien places". He had been all over Western Europe and kept records in journey and travel diaries on the famous sights of Germany, Holland, France and of major significance from a cultural historical perspective.
