Cselebi, Evlia
He was a Turkish traveller. In the middle of the 17th century he travelled through the Osman Empire, the Crimean mountains, Ukraine, Persia and Sudan. Between 1660 and 1666 he visited Hungary several times. His work called Seyehat-name (Book of Travels) was a travel book, a collection of useful information regarding different areas and settlements. It is quite valuable from the point of view of ethnography and the history of education.
