One of the most significant Italian architects working in Hungary in the service of the Viennese court, who was involved with the construction of numerous Hungarian castles in the second half of the sixteenth century. He worked in Pozsony (Bratislava, Slovakia) and on the castles of Győr, Komárom, Eger, Kanizsa, and Trencsén (Trenčín, Slovakia).
