Beszterce word list

The Beszterce word list, which was copied around 1395, was found in the archieves of county Beszterce-Naszód in 1891. At present it is kept in the archieves of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The word list contains many mispellings. It was published by Henrik Finály: The Beszterce Word List. Latin-Hungarian linguistic relic from the 15th century. AkNyÉrt. 16/1. Budapest, 1882.

Jász word list

The Jász word list, which was compiled after 1422, is written on the back cover of a charter dating from 1422. It was discovered by Gyula Németh in the National Archieves. It was published by him: Egy jász szójegyzék az Országos Levéltárban [A Jasz Word List in the National Archeives] I OK. 12. [1958] 233-259.

Königsberg word list

The Königsberg word list, which was made around 1380, was discovered in 1916 in the one-tine Royal Prussian Archieves of Königsberg. Today it is still kept there.

Sopron word list

The Sopron word list, which was copied around 1435, was found by Jenő Házi in the archieves of Sopron. The reason the word list could survive might have been that it was used as the cover of an inventory from 1459.
